Sometimes I find it hard to write an informative anecdote about an engagement shoot and the couple I am working with - and this stems largely from the sense that I still have months to get to know the couple better before they tie the knot. What I can tell you about Kerri and Nathan so far is that they are very comfortable with each other, which resulted in a very relaxed pace for the shoot. Both themselves and I arrived at Goldstream Park early for the shoot, despite the cloudy weather. Soon we were weaving through the park along pathways layered in late fall gold. It's a beautiful place, Goldstream, and I can see why Kerri recommended it. Nathan's frequent jokes were only complimented by Kerri's contagious laugh. I'm excited to spend many hours at a wedding with these two and their cheery optimism - certainly a positive attribute to have for what can be a very long, but extremely exciting day.
